One of the most recognisable voices in the watersports world, Lewis Crathern, will be the MC throughout the European Foil and Windsports Expo. The commentator for kitesurfing’s King of the Air, the Megaloop Challenge, Lords of Tram and a regular at GKA events throughout the year, Lewis’s easygoing style and extensive knowledge base make him the perfect option to be in charge of the mic throughout the EFWE.
Running interviews on stage and at the beach during the day, as well as commentating the wakeboard comp and running the outdoor cinema night, Lewis will be at the heart of this year’s event.
Here’s what Lewis had to say about his role:
“I have been following the wind for over 20 years, competing, travelling, broadcasting and being involved at major events. I am extremely excited about this year’s European Foil & Windsports Expo in Portugal. The industry needs an event like this at a top location where we can all get together and do what we love to do: talk about our sports! I’m Looking forward to being part of the event team, MC’ing the day’s action and delivering some interactive interviews and moments with the brands and their riders throughout the event.”
