Dates are now confirmed for the 2025 European Foil and Windsports Expo. The event will run 8-11 October. The three days of the event will see the main brands in the world of foil and kite exhibiting their latest 25/26 products with the Beach Site hosting on and off the water demos and walk-throughs of the latest gear. For registered retailers there is also the opportunity to meet with brands and to demo their latest products on the water.
The main Expo Area will see a daily schedule of presentations from brands and riders. There are plenty of places to grab food and a drink, as well as areas for chilling out and for networking. There will also be 3 nights of entertainment at the main stage (6pm-10pm) for attendees. This includes the outdoor cinema night which will see brands showcasing clips as well as some exclusive premiers of new movies. For those looking to enjoy some of Portugal’s finest hospitality, Lagos’s “old town” is a 10 minute walk with plenty of options for restaurants and bars.
Coupled with the EFWE for this year will be a tour stop for the inaugural year of the Surf Foil World Tour (SFT).
The SFT Prone foil comp will be a mobile event with multiple options around the world class beaches of the western Algarve. With consistent high period swells from the Atlantic Ocean and beaches facing all directions from north through to south-east, we expect to offer some of the best surf conditions on the SFT for the world’s best prone riders.
The SFT Pump and eFoil categories will then be run on Meia Praia beach at the main event site with the perfect flat water and incredible backdrop for the fastest eFoilers and the toughest Pump Foilers on the planet.
Registration for the EFWE is open NOW for both exhibitors and for retailers. Booths will be allocated on a first come first served basis (no deposit required, 1st payment due 31 March) and there is no fee for Retailers but you must register to attend the event and to arrange to meet with brands.
We’re super excited about the EFWE 2025. It’s going to be Europe’s biggest event of its kind and – with the addition of the SFT – will showcase both the very latest gear, and the very best athletes over the course of three unforgettable days in Portugal.
